The live draw has been made, and Nadal and Federer could meet in the final.
If all goes to seed, we will be looking at a Nadal vs Murray in one semifinal with Djokovic against Federer in the other.

Could we see a repeat of Roland Garros, with Federer beating Djokovic and Nadal winning the title, allowing Nadal to stay No. 1?
Here are the likely (my guesses by seeds and form) opponents that each will have to beat before meeting each other in the final:
Rafael Nadal:
First Round: Michael Russell Second Round: Ryan Sweeting Third Round: Milos Raonic Fourth Round: Juan Martin del Potro Quarter Finals: Tomas Berdych Semi Finals: Andy Murray Finals: Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer
Roger Federer:
First Round: Mikhail Kukushkin Second Round: Adrian Mannarino Third Round: David Nalbandian Fourth Round: Nicolas Almagro Quarter Finals: David Ferrer Semi Finals: Novak Djokovic Finals: Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray
Wimbledon seeds announced, draw out today, Friday.
What are the Wimbledon seedings for 2011? Rafa is seeded first for the first time in his career (the seeding does not follow ATP rankings, but adjusts for recent performance on grass). Roger starts at No. 3 – here is the top ten:
1) Rafael Nadal (ESP)
2) Novak Djokovic (SRB) 3) Roger Federer (SUI)
4) Andy Murray (GBR)
5) Robin Soderling (SWE)
6) Tomas Berdych (CZE)
7) David Ferrer (ESP)
8 ) Andy Roddick (USA)
9)Gael Monfils (FRA)
10) Mardy Fish (USA)
UPDATE – Result – Rafael Nadal beat Roger Federer, 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1 to claim his record equalling sixth Roland Garros title, his 10th Grand Slam, and to retain his ATP Number One position – congratulations Rafa, and also to Roger for a fantastic tournament!
To date Rafa leads the head to head (16-8) and in Grand Slam finals (5-2). This will be the first time the two meet in a Major final since the 2009 Australian Open (Nadal won), almost two and a half years ago!
So what, apart from the glory of the Roland Garros title itself, is at stake in Sunday’s historic encounter? If Federer wins, he will:
- Have 17 Grand Slams, three clear of second best Peter Sampras
- Have beaten Rafa to win a Roland Garros title, adding legitimacy to his GOAT (Greatest of All Time) legacy
- Have solidly demonstrated that the Rafa-Nole show is really the Rafa-Nole-Roger show.
If Nadal wins he will:
- Match Bjorn Borg on 6 Roland Garros titles
- Claim his 10th Grand Slam
- Stay at No. 1, just keeping Djokovic at bay, at least for a few more weeks

Rafael Nadal should be the clear favourite against Andy Murray to reach yet another Roland Garros Open.
He has a 10-4 lead in the head to head, and won both previous matches on clay. But Rafa will be wary of the Scot, especially given the strong showing from Murray in Montecarlo where Nadal went through in the semis, but lost the second set (2-6) along the way.
Still, Rafa looked great against Robin Soderling, and there is some doubt about Murray’s ankle, so I pick Nadal in three.

Roland Garros – Live Tennis on TV Streams (Free)
Rafael Nadal vs Andy Murray, Friday, 2pm local time (midday GMT)
Option 1 – French Open – Tennis – Live TV - English
This will be a great match in and of itself, the all time Grand Slam leader and former French Open champion Roger Federer against the unbeaten in 2011 Novak Djokovic.
Add to that a little spice, in that if Djokovic wins, he will become the ATP World Number one on Monday, knocking Rafael Nadal off his perch, even if Nadal were to go on and win the title for a sixth time. Of course, if Rafa loses against Murray in the match preceding this one, Nole will already be lined up for number one, regardless of the outcome of this match.
Yet don’t forget – even if Nole has won all three matches between the two in 2011, Federer still holds a 13-9 lead in the head to head, with 2-1 on clay.
I’m going to put my neck out and pick an upset – Roger Federer, three sets to two .

Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic, Friday, after the Nadal vs Murray match. Probably some time after 4pm (2pm local time) depending on the length of that match.
UPDATE – Result – Rafael Nadal beat Robin Soderling 6-4, 6-1, 7-6
Rafael Nadal famously lost to Robin Soderling in 2009, only to revenge that quarter final loss last year by beating the Swede in the final.
With a head to head in Nadal’s favour of 5-2, you would think it would be all Rafa, but Soderling is playing great tennis, and I for one will be relieved if the Spaniard can battle through. Rafa in four sets.

UPDATE – Result – Roger Federer beat Gael Monfils, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6
Having beaten the much favoured David Ferrer, the home favourite Gael Monfils has his chance to play the mighty Roger Federer.
Monfils beat Federer the last time the two met -also in Paris (2010 Masters) – but Federer had won the five only matches before that. Can Fed make it to yet another semifinal, this time against Novak Djokovic?

UPDATE – Result – Rafael Nadal beat Ivan Ljubicic 7-5, 6-3, 6-3
Rafael Nadal probably expected to play Fernando Verdasco, but Ivan Ljubicic caused an upset to make it through. Nadal and Ljubicic have played eight times before, with Rafa winning six of those.
With Ljubicic now 32, surely his very best days are past, and he will struggle to beat Nadal for the first time on clay. Three sets, Nadal wins.

The two Swiss pros have played nine times before, with Roger Federer winning eight of those.
Stanislas Wawrinka‘s only win came on clay in 2009 – that must give him at least a small window of hope, but my pick is for Fed to win in four sets – the first real challenge for him to overcome.

UPDATE – Result: Rafael Nadal beat Antonio Veic 6-1, 6-3, 6-0
Rafael Nadal will play the 227th ranked Antonio Veic for the first time after the Croat pulled off a big surprise in beating Nikolay Davydenko in five sets.
Rafa hasn’t convinced to date, looking slow around the court and lacking consistency in the length of his shots. Will this the match where the real King of Clay shows up?
